Not really watching this new show of GMA 7 but I’m always fond of winged creatures (angels, bird man etc) and most of time I like it to be the subject of my art piece. Here’s another Daz Studio art finished in Photoshop.
I’m not really a big fan of Marian Rivera but this CGI art is just incredible. We rarely see 3D artist used local celebrities as models that is why this one really captures my attention. At first I thought this model is created for a future movie or tv project for Marian but it appears that it is just a random project by the artist. It seems that he like Marian so much.

Just a work in progress. The dagger handle is just a placeholder. But I’m quite satisfied with the blade.
Just posting a collage of my random rendered illustrations. Quite happy with what I’m learning so far. Learning new skills in graphic design is a pain in the ass but thanks to new innovations, Graphic softwares are slowly becoming more simple. Life is now much better for somebody like me who don’t wants to use complicated tools and software.
So to all software programmers and engineers, thanks for making my life much easier. You guys rock!
My very first decent model in Zbrush complete with Material and basic turn table animation. Not really that special but I know I’m getting there :)
Playing Around with Zbrush
After days of practicing Light usage in Daz Studio 4, now I’m currently jumping to another software and this time I will be doing digital sculpting. Yes, you heard it right, this time I’m actually creating 3D from scratch and I’m excited.
Zbrush may look like very user friendly but when you finally get a hold of it, you can’t really use it without watching some basic tutorials or reading manuals. The interface has a lot of menus and if you are really new to the software or to 3D in general, you can definitely get lost or click the wrong tool.
Now I’m just playing around with the software to get use to the keyboard shortcuts and tool usages. If you are a 3D artist and you haven’t tried using Zbrush, then this is the time that you finally do.
Revisiting my Craft
Currently learning… erm… re-learning a software that I love using before. But since I become very busy doing websites for almost 4 years, I abandoned using it. Now that I’m bouncing back on my craft, other than handling a pencil and an eraser, I’m now practicing again using 3D softwares.
Might take some time but I know I will be back.
P.S. I just wish I have a much stronger PC/Laptop for 3D. My current laptop is keep on crashing on me. I guess my next big purchase will be a laptop first. PS vita can wait.
Feeling better now after being sick since yesterday. Just changed my desktop wallpaper with this. Love it so much.
